Personal Information

Introduction

A well-seasoned freethinker, Miss Ginsburg is a middle-aged woman who grew up in a household of atheists, scientists, teachers, and artists. She has lived in university dorms, tugboats, hotel rooms, and manor houses. (And beneath a couple of bridges as well, when it comes down to it.)

Having never quite fit the template of a proper lady, she prefers a Bohemian existence of moral ambiguity, the pursuit of beauty and adventure. In spite of this, she is not idle...usually. She has worked as an inventor, seamstress, writer, merchant and muse. Nothing is beneath her if circumstances demand.

Miss Ginsburg prefers to live independently rather than be confined by tradition. Unconventional but sincere, she lives and loves on her terms. She is alternately fiery and serene, and is prone to bouts of fervent wanderlust.

Miss Ginsburg isn't particularly mysterious. She isn't fabulously wealthy, dark and haunted or supernatural in the least. She is, in fact, a joyful misfit. She delights in the simple pleasures of wandering, striking up conversations, and an occasional cigar. You may see her taking an evening constitutional in a fine frock one day and gentlemen's trousers the next. It is her philosophy that one must cultivate one's eccentricities before becoming too old, so there is no question of whether encroaching senility is to blame.

Origins

Recently returning to the Steamlands from journeys that led her far from home, Miss Ginsburg discovered that she lost almost everything in a devastating inventory fire. She now begins the work of rebuilding her life, again. It's not the first time.

Que sera, sera.
