Introduction

Hullo there I'm Nate, but yer can call me Nath, Nate, Nat, Nathaniel, er "hey you wif the spanner" an' I'll prolly answer. Gen'rally I'm building somethin' er other er tryin' ter make somethin' better. I'm not terr'bly good at RP but I'd be glad ta try slippin' in ter character if ya need me so long as I'm not too busy wif somthin'. Jus' be sure ya give me some sort of warnin' that ya want me ter be in character. Thankies.

Origins

No one knows quite where little Nate came from, but that's not really important. At the age of 10 he was apprenticed to an engineer on a steam freighter from the mainland. During this short engagement he gained many of his varied technical skills. When the ship wintered in New Babbage the city quickly captured him under it's spell and he found he couldn't help but stay. He's found his place among the citizens of this town as a handyman...er...handy-urchin. Nate can't stand rudeness but is glad to offer his assistance so long as you ask nicely. He's quick to laugh and joke, but cross one of his friends and he'll be the first to try and take a swing at you with a suitably-sized spanner.

Note to everyone: I'm not very good at staying in character and may or may not be in character at any given moment. In fact, for the most part you can just assume I am out of character. Please give me a shout if you need me for some minor in character role; I'd be happy to try.
