After herding the flamingoes two gnomes and their lady friend (because, you know, they never roam alone) chose to stay behind and explore the city for a few days.
I wished them luck, warned them to avoid Tenk and poured them each a pint on the house.

If there was such a thing as dwarves just cause one nutter writes that the females have beards...

I believe it has to do with beard length...
That's some well deserved rest. I'm rather surprised they came away from the experience uninjured. Flamingos can be vicious when they don't wish to be moved. *rubs an old scar behind left elbow*
