Details
The mill of the fells is a windmill which utilizes the sea breeze, so prevalent in New Babbage, to turn an archimedes screw and pump water from the lands below sea level. Having been built of sturdy brick with a copper roof, it's been here for as long as anyone can remember standing like a lonely sentinel watching the fells.

Feel free to come visit. The mill makes a good spot for friends to sit and fish or a lovely place for a picnic, not to mention a good place for furtive midnight meetings.
Operational notes:
A brake rope has been added and the starting and stopping procedures have been improved for more realistic performance. The rope can only be used by members in the Engineers of New Babbage group. Also, I've made the mill animations and sound dependent on wind speed so as the wind picks up the wind sounds increase, mill sounds pick up speed, and the mill machinery increases in speed of operation.
