Wealthy but miserly.

Came to New Babbage to live under the care of her neice, but resents every moment of it.

Origins

Mumsy Abigail lived in New Babbage many, many years ago. She has said very little about her time in the city back then, however. All that's known is that at some point she left and didn't return until recently.

One thing we do know about Mumsy is that she's superstitious. Her husband passed away decades ago, and she is convinced to this day that she once saw his ghost sitting in a chair in her bedroom.
