The woman's cool sweat rolled down her bare back as she tossed and turned in the small home in Mondrago. Her dreams were getting worse. She knew that it wasn't Helio's doing... Perhaps it was just her worry bleeding over into her dreams. Beryl was fine, but she wasn't Arnold. Lisa was taking a moment of rest in her busy day, sitting by the fireplace in Dr. Solsen’s office, when she heard the front door open and the padding of familiar feet. Looking around, she saw Arnold in the doorway of the office. “Hello, Lisa,” he said to her.
The cat laid down on the floor of the cathedral gripping his side and panting after his encounter with Moriarty, which had almost gone the other way. Adrenaline and desperation had fueled his movements, but they were fading away now. While he rested he heard what sounded like a hymn begin to sing outside in Greek, which he didn’t understand.
